Here at Rose Dermatology, it is our pleasure to offer you the most advanced, non-invasive skin care treatment available today, the SilkPeel™. The SilkPeel™ incorporates a form of microdermabrasion with its widely renowned dermalinfusion technique to give you softer, smoother, and younger looking skin.
Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation and skin rejuvenation procedure that brushes a flat rough tip against your skin. This action removes dead skin and particles from the outer layer of your skin, improving its texture and appearance. The downside of this procedure is that it may leave your skin feeling unevenly abraded and even uncomfortably abraded in some spots due to excessive pressure from the individual performing the procedure.
The SilkPeel™ has eliminated human error by incorporating a vacuum in the process, providing evenly distributed pressure. Rather than brushing the tip against the skin by hand, the vacuum gently lifts the skin to the abrasive tip where it is uniformly abraded. This unique feature also allows for a deep pore cleansing as blackheads or whiteheads are removed. The vacuum setting is controlled by the skincare professional so the patient can dictate how aggressive or gentle they want the procedure to be.
Where the silk peel truly stands out is its incorporation of the dermalinfusion technique. While the vacuum controlled tip is removing impurities in your skin, a topical solution flows through the tip. This topical solution is absorbed through the pores right into the dermal layer of your skin. The solution is absorbed into the layer of skin that needs it most!
